Biography
Corine was born in the Bay Islands of
Spanish Honduras At the age of six years old her parents
took her to the Cayman Islands in the West Indies their
birthplace. She is the youngest of her siblings.
Corine grew up and was partly schooled on the Island,
advanced her education by studying through correspondence
school in Sheffield, England. She started writing stories
from an early age, way back when all she had was an exercise
book and a led pencil; with hopes that someday she would see
her writings in a book which others would be able to
purchase and read. But she enjoyed having the opportunity
back then to read her stories for others, and later on to
her children for bedtime stories. She successfully completed
a thirty-month writing course from the Newspaper Institute
of America in 1991.
Corine personally attended the H. T. College in Nassau,
Bahamas. She’s married in the Cayman Islands and has six
birth children, a daughter and five sons, and also adopted
one daughter, and contributed to the raising another girl,
and a boy.
She has been a sponsor mother of children with the Christian
Children Fund for almost two decades, and says she enjoys
knowing that she helps to make a difference in the life of
so far, four needy children. One of her Goal in this is to
be a sponsor mother of one hundred children, and wish that
soon her Spencer children will be able to read her books in
their own
langue in the very near future. From an early age, Corine
has been miraculously led and taken care of by the unseen;
this blessing has inspired her to use her gift of writing to
tell in truth and fiction, what she knows and believes about
the outer worlds and their inhabitancy.
Corine’s ability in writing includes religious writings in
the form of Bible lessons of which she freely distributes by
way of her website; and hard copies which she mails, and
personally distributes where ever she’s allowed to place
them, true-story, some of which she plans to complete and
have published, fiction, of which she have so far written
two books; the first for children titled “IT”S WHO” and
“ACCESS TO BEYOND” for Teens, and Adults, poetry, of
which she have won many awards, and someday plans to publish
them also, and writing Stage plays; she have so far been
fortunate to see one of her plays on Stage; titled “PITTY
PAUL”.
She also studied writing for radio and television as well,
but as yet is not Enthusiastically concerned about becoming
involved with actually writing for radio and television, but
would love to have, and see some of her books used as
Screen, and Stage plays. Corine has received many awards
local and international for much of her creative writing
over the years; and says that she would be thankful to God
to spare her life and health that she may be able to be the
author of at lease fifty books.
She has long been a distinguished member of the
International Society of Poets. Last but in no way least,
Corine say she is grateful to be able to say that she is A
Christian who is still being thrown in the furnace. “Thrown
in the Furnace”; the title of one of her up coming books.
